Designers Guild Appoints Oliver Newman Vice-President
|
London-based international interiors company Designers Guild has appointed
Oliver Newman vice-president for U.S. bedding and accessories. He will head up
sales efforts for the company's extensive bed, bath and accessories line.
Newman, formerly with high-end towel and fashion bedding manufacturer,
Christy, has more than 25 years experience in the home textiles industry.
Our U.S. business is now at a significant level with a substantial network of
outlets as well as a growing e-commerce business offering total nationwide
distribution, says Simon Jeffreys, group ceo for Designers Guild. Oliver Newman
joins our business at an exciting time and brings with him great relevant expertise
and experience.
A strategic alliance with sales rep organizations has given the Designers Guild
brand considerable presence in key showrooms around the country, including
Dallas, Atlanta and Chicago.
