Softline Home Fashions Partners With HGTV's Monica Pedersen
| Softline Home Fashions, leading distributor of ready-made curtains, decorative
pillows and fabrics, announces a licensing agreement with Monica Pedersen, who is
seen on HGTV. The scheduled launch of Monica Pedersen for Softline Make It
Beautiful Collection will be in January 2014 at World Market Center in Las Vegas
"We believe our Monica Pedersen product launch will be an introduction that many
consumers will relate to. We want to bring Monica's style to every home in America,"
says Rodney Carr, director and co-founder of Softline. "Monica's style is in tune with
what we strive for at Softline—affordable elegance. Monica will work closely with
Softline's creative and sourcing teams to develop stunning new collections in
decorative fabrics and pillows, as well as an extensive line of ready-made curtains."
As a designer on more than 90 episodes of HGTV’s series, "Designed to Sell," and
50 episodes of "Bang for Your Buck," Pedersen quickly became a trusted expert
showing viewers how to add value to their homes while working within a tight
budget. Her work as an interior design expert and television host can also be seen
regularly as the host of HGTV's "Dream Home and Smart Home Giveaways," "House
Hunter's Great Escapes" and in appearances on NBC's "Today Show," "Steven and
Chris," "The Revolution," "Steve Harvey," "Fox News" and WGN.
In addition to her work on television, Pedersen released her first design book
titled "Make It Beautiful" in May 2012.
Monica's designs and tips have been featured in national publications including
People, Redbook, Town and Country, Traditional Home, Good Housekeeping,
InStyle, USA Today, The Washington Post, Woman's Day, and Family Circle. Monica
was also featured as one of Chicago’s 50 most beautiful people in Chicago
