From Jan. 29 to Feb.4, 2010, four New York City venues, GLM’s New York international Gift Fair (NYIGF) at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Pier 94, 230 Fifth Ave. and 7 W New York at 7 West 34th St. will offer buyers the opportunity to access more than 600 home fashions vendors.
The NYIGF at the Javits Center and Pier 94 will present 2,700 exhibitors in eight divisions; At Home featuring Home Textiles, Accent on Design, Studio, EX-TRACTS, General Gift, Personal Accessories, Tabletop & Housewares and Handmade. Educational seminars include Color Pulse 2011, which will be held Monday, Feb. 1 and will discuss key 2010-2011 color trends. Unwind after the show during A Night on Broadway; market attendees are entitled to a discounted admission to the Broadway musical “HAIR” Tuesday, Feb. 2.
7 W will host the first-ever NYC Baby & Kid Fair on the building’s 11th floor during this year’s Winter Gift and Home Textiles Market Week. The building will also have an extensive lineup of presentations and festivities. Be sure to attend the NYC Baby & Kid’s opening night party and their late night shopping bash Saturday, Jan. 30 from 5-7 p.m. and the 7 W Sock Hop on Monday, Feb. 1 from 5-8 p.m. on the 11th floor.
230 Fifth Ave. will welcome 10 new tenants during the New York Textiles Market Week, and houses in total 200 companies offering a wide range of product lines and categories available to buyers.
