Vegas Vibes
By Wanda Jankowski

Las Vegas Market runs from July 27 to 31 and offers a larger selection than ever of fresh resources in permanent showrooms and temporary displays

The Summer Edition of the Las Vegas Market takes place at the World Market Center Las Vegas from Sunday, July 27 to Thursday, July 31, 2014. The Summer Market continues the Sunday to Thursday pattern introduced at the January 2014 Winter Las Vegas Market. It also reflects growth in both permanent and temporary furniture, gift and home décor resources.

Temporary exhibits are grouped into themed collections: Home, Gallery, Textiles, Style and Veranda on floor C5; Couture, Gift, First, Gourmet, Made, Trend, Vintage and Carry! on floor C11; the C-One Collection of tabletop, better gift and home décor suppliers; Lifestyle Collection on C10 featuring lifestyle brands in micro-showrooms; and Home Furnishings temporary exhibitors on floor B2.

The First grouping, which spotlights first-time-to-market products, and the Couture grouping, which offers artist/designer/maker products, are new categories. The former Global category is consolidated into Made, and the former Fashion category into Gift.

A variety of special events, including daily networking opportunities, evening entertainment and hospitality offerings, are planned for buyers within the temporary exhibits throughout Buildings B and C. All market-sponsored hospitality is free to attendees.
