Home Furnishings Shows In India
Three home furnishings shows organized by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts take place concurrently from Apr. 15 to 17, 2014 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida Expressway in Delhi, India. Here are details on each event:
* Indian Furnishings, Floorings And Textiles Show (IFFTEX)
The fifth edition of the Indian Furnishings, Floorings and Textile Show (IFFTEX) features a wide range of products. In home furnishings and made-up items, linens, towels, cushion covers, wall hangings and coverings, curtains, draperies and accessories, upholstery materials, laces and embroidery, silk and Zari, quilts and coverlets, pleated blinds, and more will be on display. The floor covering section includes carpets, rugs, runners, woven piles and durries. In addition, natural fiber floorings made with rattan, bamboo, wicker, jute, coir and hemp will also be on view.
* Indian Furniture And Accessories Show (IFAS)
The seventh edition of the Indian Furniture and Accessories Show (IFAS) has been timed with major Asian furniture shows to help buyers to conveniently schedule their business itineraries. This show will display furniture for home, restaurant, garden and beach, as well as traditional furniture, colonial furniture, hardware and accessories. An important segment is furniture made with cane and bamboo.
* Indian Houseware And Decoratives Show (IHDS)
The fifth edition of the Indian Houseware and Decorative Show (IHDS) includes housewares, tableware, kitchenware, bath and bathroom accessories, and lawn, garden and outdoor living products. Product categories on view include: basket and wicker ware, curtain rods, lighting, bottle racks, bar accessories, dishes, coffee and tea sets, cutlery, cooking tools, glasses, kitchen mats and textiles, mirrors, picture frames, ceramics, wall hangings, napkins, coasters, placemats, trays, bathroom mats, linen closets and towel rails.
Each of the three events is expected to draw more than 250 exhibitors from across India. The products displayed at the events reflect the rich legacy of traditional Indian workmanship blended with innovative designs.
The show offers opportunities to department stores, chain and specialty stores, mail order/catalogue houses, decorative accessories retailers, interior designers, importers and distributors to source high quality and competitively priced products to increase profit margins.
