Exciting fabric and trim trends are captured in this array of recently introduced options, many of which are on view during Showtime, sponsored by the International Textile Market Association (ITMA), which runs Dec. 8 to 11, 2013 in High Point, NC

Phifer Inc. The Native Escape Designed Fabrics Collection is inspired by traditional Native American designs and prints such as kilim, diamond motifs and geometric lines. The Robert Allen Group Robert Allen and DwellStudio have collaborated to present the Decorative Modern Collection, which draws inspiration from New York’s iconic style legacy. Motifs range from DwellStudio’s signature animal patterns to geometrics and plaids, with soft coordinates that facilitate layering. Shown in the chair is Ming Dragon, a reinvented Asian floral with a fantastical dragon motif available in persimmon (shown), admiral, aquatint and midnight. Samuel & Sons The Strata Collection uses strie as a means to reveal color and depth. The collection includes seven patterns in elements such as zigzag, strie, ombre and dense wool pile borders, woven cord and ombre gimp. Kravet Kravet debuts a new collection of fabrics from Canadian designer Sarah Richardson, who stars in HGTV’s “Sarah’s House” and “Sarah 101.” The fabrics build on her signature style with complementary palettes that allow consumers to mix elements and create their own visions of comfortable elegance. The variety, from modern stylized floral and small-scale prints, to textural solids and wovens, supports Richardson’s philosophy that fabrics should be mixed and matched to create an easy, relaxed ambiance. Iconix Grandeur in the Garden features Baroque designs inspired by the gracious living of the early 20th century. The 100 percent cotton Baroque Bargello diamond grid (above) is drawn from needlepoint tapestries.
