Heimtextil Set For Jan. 11 to 14, 2012

Messe Frankfurt’s Heimtextil, the largest international trade fair for home and contract textiles, will take place in Frankfurt/Main from Jan. 11 to 14, 2012.

The January 2011 edition of Heimtextil attracted 2,601 exhibitors from 60 countries with 87 percent coming from outside Germany, a new record level of internationality for the event. More than 73,000 trade visitors in the purchasing, retail trade, interior decoration, architecture, design and contract furnishings sectors attended in 2011.

The Heimtextil event continues to evolve with each edition. Heimtextil 2011 saw successful restructurings in Halls 3.1, 4.1 and 5.1. Next year, Heimtextil is expecting to see well-known newcomers exhibiting in these halls as well as returning leaders.

A prominent new addition for 2012 to the bed segment in Hall 8 is Dunlopillo. Zambaiti Concept from Italy and Sanko Tekstil from Turkey are also returning.

2012 will see further international fashion labels exhibiting their new collections for the home in Hall 11.0, where premium products for bed, bathroom and table will be displayed.

The Heimtextil Trend Book, Montage, clarifies and distills the essence of the Heimtextil Trends 2012/13. It includes socio-cultural backgrounds and interdisciplinary inspirations, new color charts and numerous explanations regarding the materials. The Trend Book is available beginning at the end of August 2011 through

Trend Table participants include Baolab, Italy; stilburo bora.herke.palmisano, Germany; Carlin International, France; Dan Project, Japan; Global Color Research, USA; stijlinstituut Amsterdam, Netherlands; and LS:N Global/The Future Laboratory, U.K.
