Brookstone Partners With AQ Textiles, Design Weave On Sleep Smart™

The new Brookstone Sleep Smart™ Collection, developed in partnership with AQ Textiles and Design Weave, is on display during N.Y. Home Fashions Market and will be available to consumers in Fall 2012.
“Brookstone is known for innovative design and technology,” says Douglas Colley, operational vice-president and general manager of licensing at Brookstone, “so it wanted to create the best possible bedding line and partner with companies that would bring it to fruition. Brookstone is dedicated to making everyday products better.”

AQ Textiles contributes top of bed, sheets, pillowcases, comforters and duvet covers to the collection. Design Weave creates the basic bedding, pillows, blankets and mattress products.

The bedding incorporates patented technologies yielding permanent wrinkle resistant, anti-static, allergy reduction and moisture management qualities resulting in a superior night’s sleep. What Brookstone believes sets the Sleep Smart™ Collection apart is that the product benefits are permanent and will not disappear or diminish after numerous washings, as is the case with some products offering similar benefits already on the market.

AQ Textiles’ products are made with 100 percent cotton. Design Weave’s products will include a cotton and coconut fiber blend, with fills of natural down.
Pricewise, the bedding line falls in the “better” quality range.
